Faith in Action Caregivers supports the independent living of older adults and people with disabilities in Ohio and Marshall Counties in West Virginia and Belmont County in Ohio. All services are provided without charge to the receiver regardless of income level. Services include escorted transportation, shopping, errands, household chores, yard work, assistance with personal record keeping, reading mail, friendly visiting, reassurance phone calls, respite for family caregivers and a home-based exercise program. Faith in Action Caregivers has provided more than 48,000 hours of free services to over 2,000 individuals since 1995. The organization is supported through the generosity of individual and corporate donors, faith communities, local foundations and fund raising projects. Faith in Action Caregivers does not receive any government funds to support its work. The most frequently requested service is escorted transportation to medical appointments in the local area as well as in Pittsburgh, Morgantown and Columbus.

Memorial and Honorarium donations are placed in the Faith in Action Caregivers Endowment Fund to ensure the long-term sustainability of the ministry.

Faith in Action Caregivers does not receive any government funding to support its work and is dependent on the generosity of the local community.
