Dear Marathon Supporters and Friends,

Who can forget the story of ‘Baby Grace,’ the two-year old whose battered body was discovered by a fisherman in West Galveston Bay in October of last year?

While the case of Riley Ann Sawyers saddened people across the globe, it also brought to light an encouraging fact: child abuse is 100% preventable.

Each year, over 35,000 of Houston's children are the alleged victims of abuse or neglect. Countless cases are never even reported until it's too late. But, here's where you can help.

By contributing to the ESCAPE Family Resource Center, you will become a part of the solution to world’s child abuse crisis. You gift will allow at-risk families living in Greater Houston learn how to cope with stress, communicate effectively, discipline without using punishment, and work together to solve their problems before children are hurt.
