As many of you know, my mother, Teri underwent several life-altering surgeries, blood transfusions and most of all - severe pain and humiliation due to lack of technology with this form of cancer. She endured a 15 year battle with cancer and her bravery was inspiring to us all. She passed away at age 57.

This foundation supports crucial research about cancers unique to women. Every 7 minutes, a woman hears a diagnosis of gynecologic cancer, more than 78,000 women each year.

This is just the second race for this foundation and is the only national organization dedicated to the eradication of reproductive cancers.

My personal goal is to raise $3,000 for the National Race to End Women's Cancer by Sunday, November 6th for this cause. Please consider a donation of any amount with which you feel comfortable.
