| I have been nominated as the first Honorary Youth Candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man & Woman of the Year campaign, ENC Chapter. I am very excited about this honor and truly feel this is my opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people affected by leukemia, lymphoma and blood cancers throughout our community.
I ask that you join me by making a contribution to my fundraising campaign. Each dollar I raise counts as one vote and the candidate who gets the most donations is named our local Man or Woman of the Year. I am raising money in memory of my Papa who recently lost his battle to another type of cancer just a few months ago. My Papa was a courageous and inspirational man who was Man of the Universe in my eyes, so I want to be Man of the Year in honor and memory of him. Also in honor of Madison Smith, 2008 Girl of the Year, my very good friend Mrs. Carol Sims, and the many courageous individuals I have met along my journey that continue to battle all types of cancers, as well as those who lost their battle. I truly hope to make a difference in the lives of others. I have listed contribution levels below; however, all donations are greatly appreciated. Your donation is tax deductible and will support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society programs, including research, patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services.
