| ELITE RUNNERS FUNDS CAMPAIGN |

| The Elite Runners Track Club provides the youth of Woodbridge Township and surrounding communities a competitive running program. This health and social development program uses current physiological and motivational techniques to 1) combat a sedentary lifestyle which often leads to obesity and poor health in adolescents and 2) enhance the social awareness of the athlete. We believe team membership builds pride, self esteem, respect, goal management, and leadership skills. We further feel that these important life-skills will encourage our athletes to become productive members of society.
We are an AAU affiliate with 501 c (3) tax exempt status.
The Elite Runners TC program has experienced many successes since its inception in 2005, sending many athletes to National Championship competitions across the country, sponsored by the AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) and USTAF (United States Track & Field) organizations.
The program continues to grow via a significant demand however with its growth the organization has experienced a significant increase in operating expenses. The Elite Runners TC is independent and our resources to maintain and build upon the success to date are very limited.
We are asking for you to join our team! The support you provide and which we require to maintain and build our program will go towards funding the following items during the 2007-2008 season:
•Replacement of older equipment.
•Meet entry fees for Regional and National competitions.
•Subsidy of travel expenses for competing athletes.
•Training facility rental during the winter months.
•Planning and overseeing the future development of a Cross Country program for neighboring Middle Schools.
Our goal is to raise $15000 during the 2007-2008 season, and for us to meet that goal we are personally asking for your help. Your support will make a difference in the lives of the many youths involved in the program.
