| Your dollars help The Association provide Patient Services for those living with ALS throughout our 32 county service area. Of every dollar donated, 86.4% stays within our ALS community and supports programs which include: The ALS Clinic at Baylor College of Medicine, a multidisciplinary clinic serving those living with Lou Gehrig's Disease; ALS Connection meetings held throughout the area offering support and education for patients, family members, caregivers, and healthcare professionals; an ALS Symposium held every spring; an Equipment Loan Program; a Respite Care Program; Public Policy/Advocacy efforts on a local, state, and national basis; and research, which is managed through the national organization, and supports research intiatives worldwide. |
