| As many of you are well aware of, I recently received the gift of life with a heart transplant donated to me through this organization. The Lifesharing / Donate Life San Diego organization was instrumental in obtaining and coordinating my transplant and thousands of other transplant recipients like myself throughout the nation. It is through this organization that I am able to participate in the Carlsbad Half Marathon and with every donation that is made, they can continue to their lifesaving efforts. |
Currently 1,400 of our neighbors in San Diego are fighting to survive. They are suffering from organ failure and have been added to the National Organ Waiting list. We need more people to sign up as donors. |
