| Hi. My name is Shari and I am the mother of a son who has Type 1 Diabetes. He was diagnosed with this disease on February 23, 1997. Since that time I have spent a lot of time raising money for Diabetes. I envision a time when anyone with diabetes does not have to count carbs and fats, give themselves insulin injections, test their blood, and constantly live with the fear of complications. Directing this race and fundraiser is a culmination of my determination to make a difference. I AM CONFIDENT WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE - PLEASE HELP!!! |
