Louisiana Boxer Rescue invites you to join us for a fun filled day of excitement, entertainment and good food for a great cause. Let’s keep up the tradition of the last 3 years being the winning rescue group fundraiser for LASPCA!!! Register online! Donate online!

The LA/SPCA’s 27th annual Dog Day Afternoon is just around the corner, and this year we are counting on your support to make sure this beloved tradition is a huge success! Dog Day Afternoon has outgrown its location at Audubon Park and has moved to Roosevelt Mall in City Park, where thousands have enjoyed the Crescent City Classic and Voodoo Fest. Although the location is changing, you can still expect tons of family-friendly fun you’ve enjoyed for the past 26 years. Enjoy great food from your favorite restaurants, local drinks, animal vendors and artists, dog obedience demos & contests, and great prizes! All proceeds directly benefit the thousands of four legged friends who come through our doors every year.

Brenda DeJean	$50.00	"I had never even considered owning a boxer. I wanted a puppy and my husband wanted a boxer puppy. He contacted a lady he did work for that raised boxers. He was referred to Connie to adopt a rescue boxer. I wasn't thrilled with owning a dog not knowing it's history. I checked out the website before going. It is just amazing that someone would do all this for these animals. Reading the stories of some of them just brings tears to your eyes. After meeting with Connie we adopted a male between 2-3 yrs. old. Joey (boxer) has brought such liveliness to our home. He is simply amazing and sooo lovable. I wouldn't trade him for nothing in the world. The only problem we have with him is he thinks he is a lap dog, but we love it. I would advise anyone to rescue one. "
