| At Ragnar we are also passionate about children’s health and fitness and are pleased to have Future for Kids as the official Del Sol charity for the second year in a row. Future for Kids is an Arizona based organization that is dedicated to providing an education for at-risk children through mentorship and sports programs. All funds raised by Ragnar and its participants will directly fund after school athletic programs for Arizona’s at-risk youth.
There are several ways you can help Ragnar raise funds for Future For Kids:
1. As an alternative to recruiting your own volunteers, teams may pay $120 per volunteer to have volunteers recruited for them. All net proceeds from this program will benefit Future for Kids. For more information visit: http://www.ragnarrelay.com/delsol/volunteers.php
2. This year Future for Kids has set a challenge for the 2010 Del Sol participants to raise $40,000. If each runner fund someone to donate an extra $10 beyond the volunteer donation we can make this a reality. To make a donation beyond the Pay for Volunteers donation please visit______. The team that raises the most money will receive a free team entry to any Ragnar Relay 2010 or Del Sol 2011 and 3 volunteer credits. The second place team will receive 25% off a 2010 or Del Sol 2011 team entry and 3 volunteer credits. The third place team will receive 3 volunteer credits. |
