| Hello everyone and welcome to the 2010 webpage for Dad's Crappie Crusaders and the Get Your Rear In Gear 5K Walk/Run event.
This will be the 4th year that some of us are walking to honor our dad and friend, Dick Larson. We first started the walk to raise awareness of Colon Cancer and how important screening is for this deadly disease. At that time, dad was alive and fighting hard to battle his cancer. By the time our second walk time had come, our dad had lost his battle with metastatic colon cancer and we were then walking in his memory, honor, and to raise money and awareness for this type of cancer.
We are proud to participate in this walk every year and always have a good time walking with our friends. Please donate whatever you can to help the Colon Cancer Coalition to spread the word about this deadly disease. With your support, maybe someday soon we won't need to do this walk.
