| I am honored to have been nominated for Woman of the Year 2007 for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This is my chance to give back!!
In 2003, my mother, Penny, was diagnosed with a blood disease called multiple myeloma. This fundraising cause is near and dear to my heart and to my families heart. We watched as she went from a strong, vibrant woman to a person who had to have help with everything. Including, taking a shower and going to the bathroom. Things that we all do every day and take for granted. On June 20, 2005, my mother lost her battle with this devastating blood cancer.
Please help me to help others!! Help me to get experimental drugs off the shelves, help me to assist families where they need help. There are so many things we can do, but we have to have the money to do it. This is a tax deductible donation. Please take just a few minutes and help someone that is truly in need.
