| Many of you know, my father was an avid advocate of youth sports. He loved watching kids compete and give it there all. He would be saddened by the lack of participation if it were due to financial reasons. The Memorial Run is in his honor to pass on the torch of active giving in the community and to ensure that the youth of Newberry will continue to be active in whatever athletic endeavors they so chose.
