| Hi! My name is Jessi and I will be running the Maui 1/2 Marathon on September 14th. I am dedicating my run to Tanner Lusk (tannerville.com), a dear friend, who lived life to the fullest and bravely fought cancer. There is very little funding for research in childhood cancers and I am asking for your help.
I met Tanner when she first started coming for radiation treatments. She had energy, a zest for life, and sarcastic humor! I remember playing catch with her in the hallway of our department. She told me I threw like a girl. I can only imagine what she would say if she could see how I run!
I know I won't come in first, or even in the the top half for that matter, but, I won't stop running until I reach the finish line, just like Tanner would have. She was a strong-willed fighter and never gave up and I will do the same in her memory. Please help me raise money towards research in finding a cure for childhood cancer. |
