Robin was born and raised in South Africa. He speaks 4 languages. He has been privileged to have spent much time discovering the natural history and incredible beauty of the African continent. He possesses extensive knowledge of the wildlife and has spent much time hiking and on safari in different areas of Africa.

After many years of selling Africa, he has decided to climb MT. KILIMANJARO in Tanzania, Africa. He is going to CLIMB FOR A CURE. His climb is a fundraiser for the CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation. They will be the recipient of funds raised. The money raised will go to children's cancer research in hope that some day we will REACH THE CURE.

Robin has a real passion for adventure and life! That is why he has decided to make this climb in support of the CureSearch cause.

ROBIN WILL START HIS CLIMB ON SEPTEMBER 12, 2008 AND HOPES TO FINISH SEVEN DAYS LATER ON SEPTEMBER 19, 2008.
