| Running a half marathon is difficult, but not as difficult as having two sons with hemophilia.
Mark and I are pushing ourselves to train for this event and hoping that you will support us and our boys as we raise money for the Arizona Hemophilia Association.
In my six years on the board of directors, I have seen our organization do amazing things to enhance the quality of life for people with bleeding disorders. The staff of the Association have become as close to us as family. Together, we host holiday parties at the zoo where the kids get presents from Santa, we have camp for children to engage their sense of adventure, and we have educational programs to help families learn about health insurance, genetics, and dealing with joint problems.
Mark and I are thrilled to be running this race and hope that you will consider supporting our family and the AZ Hemophilia Association in this effort.
Our goal is $1000 because if we raise $500 each then our $150 registration fee is refunded.
