| Community Outreach Ministry (COM) of Wildomar, is a 501 C-3 non-profit public charity formed in 2001 by Bob and Mona Davies. COM is meeting a big and specific need in children of prisoners, at-risk, needy and vulnerable kids, to improve their quality life and strengthen families. COM is focused on breaking the cycle of poverty, illiteracy, crime, violence, delinquency and abuse in children and families by raising scholarships to give at-risk kids a make or break opportunity to escape the road of illiteracy, criminal behavior, self-destruction and incarceration. Our programs empower juveniles to build personal youth development to enhance citizenship and enrich communities: (a) Outreach, (b) Camping, (c) Mentoring and (d) Holiday parties. These are free to people of color, ethnicity, religion, gender, and disability. All individuals are treated with courtesy, respect acceptance and dignity. COM is operated by local volunteers and is sustained by fundraising, constituents, corporate donations and grants. |
