Colorectal Cancer: It's a Big Dam Problem!

On March 5, 2007 I was diagnosed with stage IIIC colon cancer at the age of 39. On September 6, 2008, I will be participating in a 5K walk over the Big Dam Bridge in Arkansas to raise money and awareness for colon cancer. It will also be the kick-off of the 2009 Colondar, a calendar of young colon cancer survivors. I was blessed to be picked as one of the models for the 2009 edition of this amazing calendar. I will be walking in honor of those who have been diagnosed with colon cancer and their families.
