| 2007 Annual College Bowl Regatta |
|
| Welcome to the Courageous Sailing Center College Bowl Regatta!
The College Bowl Regatta is held in honor of Richard B. Ross, who believed in the transforming power of education and who took great pleasure in passing on his love of sailing to others.
This sailing event and tailgate party will benefit the Courageous Sailing Center Youth Program that serves around 1,000 children in the city of Boston each year by promoting life skills and values through the sport of sailing.
The College Bowl Regatta calls on the young leaders of Boston, sailors and non-sailors alike, to fire up their school spirit and come out for a great day of uniquely Boston fun.
The Regatta will include Rhodes 19's racing under the banners of their respective alma maters to benefit Courageous Sailing Center's youth programs. While the sailors are on the water, an afternoon party will commence on Pier 4 at the Courageous Boathouse.
The party, inspired by classic collegiate tailgates, will include beer and BBQ fare, a raffle, and awards ceremony.
All proceeds will go to the Courageous Sailing Center Youth Programs. This program brings the sport of sailing to local Boston children from the ages of 8 to 18, completely free of charge! Children learn valuable life skills and environmental stewardship while mastering the art of sailing. |
