| Operation Homefront’s mission is to provide emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors. Emergency assistance includes, but is not limited to, things like food, rent, utility bills or simple car repairs – the necessities that many of us take for granted.
Operation Homefront stands as a vital resource for our military families in need, and that need is growing as our soldiers return home after service and must re-enter civilian life. Finding a job, supporting their families and dealing with medical issues such as PTSD make this transition even more challenging. Operation Homefront is there to help.
As the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan come to an end and the stories come off the front pages, the organization faces a challenge to encourage support for these forgotten heroes.
One of the ways Operation Homefront raises funds is through participation in the Civilian Military Combine (CMC). The CMC is a one-day ultimate competition which starts with 4 judged lifting events and transitions to a five mile mountain race with military obstacles positioned throughout.
