| Welcome to my Strides for Nature 5K Fundraising page!
This event is now in its second year, and runners, walkers, and other volunteers are raising money for a wonderful cause... ClearWater Conservancy.
ClearWater Conservancy is a cause that has been near and dear to my heart for over 15 years now... 10 of them on staff as Executive Director. I am proud of the work that our many volunteers do to conserve land, restore stream buffers, protect water resources, and teach the next generation about our natural world.
We are holding this year's Strides for Nature 5K at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center, a place that we protect with a conservation easement and a place that we commit to sending students every year for hands-on outdoor education. This year was our biggest year yet for field trip support. Over 1,800 students went to Millbrook Marsh Nature Center in the 2010-2011 school year thanks to ClearWater's funding support.
