| I am excited to run my first marathon in 11 years! I hope you will join me in supporting Healthy Schools Campaign- this group inspires me to run as do my children, ages 4 and 6, who live with allergies and asthma and will benefit greatly from the efforts of this organization. I am running the Chicago Marathon on October 12, 2008 on behalf of this vibrant and growing not-for-profit organization. Healthy Schools Campaign addresses the growing problems of obesity and asthma among schoolchildren by promoting improved nutrition, increased physical activity, and healthy environments. Healthy Schools Campaign programs are making a difference in Chicago, throughout Illinois, and across the country. I hope you will support these efforts. Thank you! |
