This year to celebrate Hanukah and Christmas, these dedicated individuals have decided to support the Tourette Syndrome Association.
In lieu of a gift, they are asking their friends and family to make a donation to TSA, a cause close to their hearts.
With your tax deductible gift, TSA can continue to fund a world-wide cutting edge research program to discover a cause and find a cure for TS, while providing educational programs, awareness actvities and other services for people living with TS and their families.
TS, an inherited neurobiological disorder, is characterized by involuntary sudden movements and vocalizations, known as tics. A common misconception is that people, who have TS, curse uncontrollably. In fact, less than 10 percent of those affected have what is known as coprolalia. What causes TS is not yet fully understood, and to date, a cure has not been found.
