The Children's Cancer Fund was founded in 1993 by a small group of dedicated doctors, nurses and parents. The Children's Cancer Fund is a volunteer based organization whose mission is to foster research in childhood cancer, and to provide support services that will improve the quality of life for children with cancer and their families.
Our clinical research programs at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center strive to develop effective treatments for children with relapsed and refractory cancers. We are certain that our research will have a profound impact on improving the cure rate for all children with cancer; and we will continue our quest until the day when every child with cancer can be cured.
