CASA's Step Up For Children 5K In memory of Audrey Strumeier raises funds and friends for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate™). CASA for Children is a non-profit charitable organization which works through professionally trained and supervised volunteers to promote the welfare of foster children in Monmouth County, New Jersey who have been removed from their homes because of extreme parental abuse, neglect or abandonment. CASA serves as a child's "Voice in Court", working to insure that needed services and assistance are provided while helping to move the child toward a safe and permanent home.

This year CASA remembers our volunteer Audrey Strumeier, a very special vibrant woman who lived in Marlboro with her family and loved life and all it had to offer. Audrey was an exceptional volunteer for CASA with a great passion to help others and it is in her memory that this 5k is being held.
