| Caroline Can! |
|
| Caroline Owen continues to make wonderful progress toward recovery thanks in large part to the dedicated staff at the Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center. Please join us in honoring the efforts of both Caroline and her therapists by making a donation!
Thanks for visiting the Caroline Can! donation page. Support Caroline's brother, Jay, and his wife, Whitney, as they complete the Rev3 Olympic distance triathlon (0.9mi swim, 24.8 mi bike, and 3.1mi run) in Knoxville, TN on May 8! Whitney will be doing the swim portion of the race as part of a relay team with her mom and dad, and Jay will be completing the whole race with his brother, Reid, and Caroline herself!
Special racing equipment has been built that will allow Caroline to complete the swim, bike, and run portions of the race as part of a team with her brothers. She'll be on a raft during the swim, kicking to propel herself. Then, the special biking equipment will let her be part of a three-person team during the biking portion. The special bike will then convert into a push cart for the run that will keep Caroline pedaling throughout the race. Jay and Reid will have to try and keep up with her as she pedals!
They are all training hard, but need your help to reach their goal. Money raised will go to support the Patricia Neal Rehavilitation Center where Caroline receives treatment for a traumatic brain injury (TBI) suffered in 2006 |
