As many of you know, running this marathon is a culmination of hard work, dedication, and the fulfillment of a dream. As recently as 2 years ago I would have told you that I wasn't capable of running a mile, much less a marathon! This is truly a dream come true for me, and much more than I ever believed I could achieve.

To make this even more meaningful, and in an effort to 'give something back', I have chosen to run for charity. Canyon Acres Children and Family Services has been offering hope to abused children and their families for over 25 years. Located in Anaheim Hills, they have made it their mission to provide homes, care, treatment and supportive services for abused, neglected and emotionally troubled children and their families.
