| When Cancer Hits Home...We Are Here
The Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital and Emily's Power for a Cure.
There are more than 50 children in our region diagnosed with cancer each year, 95% of them will receive the latest treatments at Children’s Hospital.
On average, 70 childhood cancer patients are seen in the Center each week, and 7 childhood cancer patients are inpatient at Children’s Hospital.
Emily's Power for a Cure is proud to support TC Thompson's Children Hospital Oncology clinic and it families. We provide meals to Neuroblastoma while they are stuck in the hospital and recently purchased a pediatric CT scanner for all children at TC Thompson.
