| In June of 2005, Cal Sutter, a 12-year old South Elgin Little League All Star, was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. He endured several intensive treatments, but ultimately succumbed on August 28th, 2006. Even though Cal lost his battle to this disease, the courage he displayed throughout inspired his family to start this Foundation to help other children and families battling childhood cancers.
Today, Cal's All Star Angel Foundation is granting wishes and providing financial assistance to kids fighting cancer and their families. Your donations to the Cal's Angels Marathon Team will go directly to the pediatric cancer patients we serve. |
