| Team Grace 2012 |

| Our daughter Grace was 5 years old when she was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer. Treatment, which included 14 rounds of chemotherapy and 6 weeks of radiation therapy, started immediately at Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA. Her team of specialists was led by Dr. Noah Federman, director of the sarcoma program. While Dr. Federman took care of the cancer in Grace, The Chase Child Life team of caring specialists took over helping Grace handle all the changes that were happening in her life. Hilary was so good at keeping Grace happy; Grace actually looked forward to a hospital admission (of which there were many)! She is now 7 years old.
Hilary and the staff of the Chase Child Life program are what got all of us through Grace's illness. We will be forever grateful! |
