| Dear Friends,
The BMW-Bianchi team is helping to raise money for a very important cause: The Brain Tumor Fund for the Carolinas and the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Unfortunately, our team has seen the terrible effects of brain injury when one of our own club-mates, Mark Ornitz, suffered a severe head trauma. Watching his recovery has been both difficult and inspiring, and we hope that the research of the Brain Tumor Fund can help not only the victims of cancer, but all brain-injury patients, and help them regain their lives. |

| 24 Hours of Booty 2006 is a fundraiser for the Lance Armstrong Foundation (www.laf.org), which is dedicated to enhancing the lives of those living with, through, and beyond cancer, and Carolina-based cancer initiatives, such as the Brain Tumor Fund for the Carolinas (www.charlottecriterium.org/theCause.asp), a local non-profit that is establishing Charlotte as the premier brain cancer research and treatment facility in the country.
