Help Everett Break 3 Hrs and the Back of Homelessness in the Philly Marathon
Running to Help the Homeless Get Back on Their Feet
After moving to Philadelphia in August, I decided to start logging miles and run the Philly Marathon. Whether I’m running around town, reading in a public park, or sitting on my front stoop, I’m often encountering homeless people. I’m excited to be able to do what I love, run really far distances, and team up with Back On My Feet, a non-profit organization that promotes the self-sufficiency of Philadelphia's homeless population by engaging them in running as a means to build confidence, strength and self-esteem. Join me in building strong legs and lungs and self-sufficiency in the lives of Philly’s homeless by donating any amount you are comfortable with to Back On My Feet through my fundraising page. Thanks so much for visiting. Keep up on my training, marathon updates, and deep life-lessons from the road on my micro-blog: http://twitter.com/ev_reiss Find out more about BOMF http://www.backonmyfeet.org
