“My reason is simple,” Pastor Steve says. “I have entered the marathon to bring awareness to our community’s needs and raise the funding necessary to sustain the critical assistance we provide. I know we are all going through tough times, but any one of us could become home-less, lose our job, or be forced out of our home, and be in need of help.”
Bread of Life has seen many people come through the doors for the first time in their life. Some have lost their home, jobs or both. It's a very humbling experience to have to ask for help or food. For many of those in need, this is the first time they've ever had to ask for help.
“I’m asking for your support and prayers so that our doors stay open to help our neighbors in their time of need. We have had a very lean year, but it has been very busy year for Bread of Life, and will soon be even busier.”
With your help and support, Bread of Life Rescue Mission will continue to address the needs of those who live in North County San Diego County.
