| Founded in 1981, Blue Ridge Hospice is a not-for-profit healthcare organization providing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support to terminally ill patients and their families. We are an advocate for patient comfort, dignity, and choice.
With a central base in Winchester, VA, Blue Ridge Hospice service area is composed of eight counties. In 2008, we served over 2000 patients and families.
Blue Ridge Hospice does receive reimbursement from Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payers; however, donations are graciously accepted to cover the costs of care provided to those who have no insurance assistance. |
