In 2008-09, the North Carolina A&T women’s basketball team enjoyed it’s greatest season ever – winning both the MEAC regular season and MEAC tournament titles, while also receiving a 14th seed in the NCAA tournament. Earning the nickname “Beatdowns Unlimited”, the Lady Aggies embarked on a memorable journey in which they regularly dominated their competition and rejuvenated the pride in A&T fans everywhere. But now a new challenge has emerged: remaining on top. This upcoming season the Lady Aggies will once again have a bull’s eye on their back and will need every resource available to continue their growth as a legitimate mid-major power.
