The Lupus Foundation of Northern California (LFNC)

Currently Commemorating its 30th Anniversary

The LFNC is extremely honored to be recognized as one of the beneficiaries of the Marin County Triathlon

The LFNC's mission is to be a premier source of information on lupus by providing programs and services designed to educate and increase the knowledge of those affected by lupus, promote lupus awareness, and support external lupus research efforts.

Some of our services include a quarterly newsletter; an extensive website, www.balf.org; a library of 850 individual medical articles; 6-hour education classes; semi-annual conferences featuring physician speakers; a video lending library; semi-annual Dial-a-Doctor Night; youth support group programs; and support groups throughout central and northern California. Many of these services are also offered in Spanish. Last year more than 22,000 individuals requested and received our services.

Donations are welcome and would help us in our efforts of providing a wide variety of health education and support services for lupus patients and families. All donations will be acknowledged with a letter of receipt for tax purposes.

A donation of any amount is welcome. For those who donate at the levels listed below, we are pleased to offer the following acknowledgment gifts:
