| Autism Awareness 5K & 1 Mile Walk-A-Thon |

| Thank you for visiting our fundraising site! This year the Autism Society, Tidewater Virginia will host our 6th Annual Autism Awareness 5K and One-Mile Walk. The race will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Mount Trashmore Park in Virginia Beach. Proceeds from the race will benefit Autism Society, Tidewater Virginia, our community based organization that helps local families facing autism.
This year is very special to us as this is our 30th Anniversary and we will be hosting the event on World Autism Awareness Day. Our goal is to show the world that the Tidewater, Virginia area is concerned about individuals affected by Autism and that we are aware of Autism Spectrum Disorders.
You can join our team and help make a difference. Help the Autism Society, Tidewater Virginia provide the needed services for individuals with autism and their families! It is a wonderful way to support families in our local community and provide hope for their children affected by this challenging disorder.
