A Walk For Water is a collaborative event through which students, families and individuals walk together and raise funds to build permanent sources of water in the Azawak of West Africa.
This spring our goal is to raise $50,000 to finish the borehole recently drilled in the village of Kijigari. Read more about Kijigari here: Kijigari Village .
Mary's Run! , our newest event!
Mary Ohren witnessed the devastating conditions in the Azawak when she accompanied Ariane and Denis to the region in 2007. Now, she is running for water.
On June 12, Mary will run 12 hours to raise funds for Amman Imman to finish the Kijigari borehole.
Sponsor Mary per mile or
make a flat donation.

About Giving to Amman Imman: Water is Life:
All donations made to Amman Imman go directly toward bringing clean, sustainable sources of water to a half million people living in Niger's Azawak Valley. Without this water, people in the Azawak have little hope for survival. Amman Imman is one of the only organizations in the world working to save the lives of these vulnerable people.
Amman Imman: Water is Life has been bringing water to the Azawak since 2006. We are currently in the process of applying for tax exempt status with the IRS as a 501(c)3 organization.
Total donations: $10,179
