| 2008 FLORIDA AAU STATE CHAMPIONS!!! |

| The AMES Tigers Basketball team has won the 2008 Florida AAU State Championship and represented the State of Florida in the 2008 AAU National Tournament. The National Championship Tournament was held July 20-26 in Lexington, Kentucky. We are now preparing for the 2009 Nationals in Memphis, TN. Please consider a tax-deductible contribution! As this is a tremendous opportunity for these young players, it may not be accomplished without your help and the help of local businesses in our communities. A great deal of money is needed to fund this tournament and the trip involved. We know from our experience this year that the budget for this tournament will be $1,000 per player (this includes travel, lodging, meals, tournament entry fees, uniforms, and shoes). AMES (Anne Martin Educational Services) is a not-for-profit organization that provides academic help for students. The basketball team is an extension of the help, support, and investment in our youth provided by the organization. The AMES Tigers are committed and dedicated to helping local youths pursue higher education through athletics. We have never turned away players based on financial need and therefore rely on donations to help fund these great opportunities.
