Amanda the Panda is a family grief center that provides support to children and families who have experienced the death of a loved one. Our mission is to restore grieving children and families back into the mainstream of their lives through innovative services that provide hope and healing. Extensive, year-round services are provided to achieve this purpose.
Services include:
o Camp Amanda - two weekend camps
o Support Groups - eight-week sessions offered in fall, winter and spring
o Fun Days - activities to bring fun and laughter back in memory of their loved one
o School visits and Presentations
This year has been an especially challenging year for everyone economically, and we are so appreciative of every donation of money, time, energy, and talent. But grief doesn't take a break just because there are other hardships. Our intentions are to help as many families who need our services as possible. We need to reach out to families who don't even know we exist. This is where we still need your help!
