| The Center Long Beach has become a staple organization that has helped every gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and straight allies that walk through our doors. For over 30 years The Center takes pride in maintaining and creating programs that are community based to empower and take care of themselves, both physically and emotionally.
As a member of our team you are helping us keep those programs that so many people depend on day in and day out. If it’s a support group, HIV/STD education & testing, legal services, counseling, recreational programs, youth afterschool programs or a new program that comes up in the future, we want to be able to provide it.
Your support last year enabled us to establish the MPower Long Beach program which reached out to close to 200 gay & lesbian young adults, empowering them take charge of their lives and become advocates in their own communities. By promoting safer sex and HIV/STD awareness in Long Beach the MPower Long Beach Group has committed to making the next generation of adults an HIV/STD free one.
