AIDS Walk Long Beach
The 21st Annual Event 5K Walk/Pet Walk and 5K/10K Red Ribbon RunWe really need your help in raising: $175,000.00.
All Walk/Run Participants: Please visit the main web site for any updates, changes, notifications, or event details.
AWLB is the only annual local walk-a-thon that benefits the South Los Angeles County area of Long Beach and South Bay AIDS charities. The funds raised provide vital direct client services and HIV education & prevention programs.
ONLY AIDS Walk Long Beach gives more funds than the charities are able to raise for themselves! No other walk-a-thon or bike-a-thon provides 'more than raised' funding for these agencies.
A recent survey found that 31% of non-profits have less than 30 days of funds and another 31% have under 90 days of operating funds. That's why AIDS Walk Long Beach is so vitally important.
Get all your friends, co-workers and family to participate or donate. Use your FaceBook, MySpace, Emails and other networks to tell everyone.
We need more people to give, not people to give more.
