| The vision of Global Lifeworks (www.globallifeworks.org) is to provide education in both the transmission and prevention of HIV/AIDS. Additionally, we desire to collaborate with other organizations dedicated to the health and wellness of both the HIV positive individual and their community.

2008 Long Beach AIDS Walk:
Over 50% of all new HIV infection occur with our youth ages 15 to 24.
25% of those don't even know they are infected with HIV.
Long Beach ranks #2 in the entire state of California.
We are walking to help stop this trend in our community. The funds you raise go directly to HIV prevention & education programs and to direct services. These funds are restricted funds and can only be used to stop AIDS. Funds cannot be used for payroll, overhead or capital expenses.
