Hello Friends!
For the last 4 out of 5 years I have been standing in ditches, on top of ladders, and cars capturing the riders of the Wisconsin AIDS Rides. This year I traded in the camera for a bike and stepped up to the challenge to ride 300 miles in 4 days through beautiful southern Wisconsin...and I DID IT! It was a beautiful ride with wonderful people both riders and crew giving back to the community for an important cause.
The purpose of the ride is to raise money and awareness for the AIDS Network in Madison. AIDS Network provides HIV education prevention services, as well as support for those living with HIV/AIDS in Southern Wisconsin.
I also reached my initial fundraising goal of $2,000 but why stop there? It's not too late to pledge a contribution in support my having ridden in ACT6. The overall goal of ACT Ride is raise $300,000. With your help we can still reach it!
Almost 90% of all money raise through the ACT Ride goes directly to the AIDS Network, so you know your contribution is being put to good use. Any amount is welcomed and appreciated.
