Hello my dear family and friends, I have chosen the LA Marathon as my first marathon ever. It is where I was raised and have spent the majority of my life. It brings me great pride and privilege to be racing down the streets of my home town with thousands of other runs and spectators from all over the world. It is especially amazing to know that I have put in a great deal of hard work and persistence to achieve this dream of mine and to know that with the help of all of you, raise money for such a needed cause. I really hope that you can join me in an effort to help support a cure for cancer and bring awareness. I know it will really help, 1. so many that are in need and 2. me finish the race.
