| Since our founding 82 years ago, the Houston SPCA has grown into Houston’s premier animal welfare organization. Our mission is to promote commitment to and respect for all animals and free them from suffering, abuse and exploitation. While we have made great strides, the problems of animal over-population, abuse, cruelty and neglect are constant reminders of how much remains to be done.
