| The Washington DC Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 5K Walk/Run will benefit two outstanding community causes: Calvary Women’s Services and the Washington, DC Alumnae Chapter’s Scholarship Fund. With 90 years of service to the Washington DC community, the Washington DC Alumnae Chapter awards thousands of dollars in new and continuing scholarships annually to graduating seniors in Washington DC. Calvary Women’s Services has provided housing and services to homeless women in the Washington, DC area since 1983. Services include educational programs, employment opportunities, personal support from case managers, mental health services, addiction recovery support and much more. We ask for your support of these two important causes via the Washington DC Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 5K Walk/Run on June 23, 2012. |
