What is Walk With Me all about?
Easter Seals Walk With Me is an opportunity for anyone and everyone to make a difference in the lives of children and adults with disabilities in our community.
By walking—or supporting a walker in their fund-raising efforts—funds are raised that allow Easter Seals to provide services that help people learn to walk, talk and perform other skills essential to daily living; find fulfilling jobs; reach individualized goals early in life; age with dignity; and participate in camping and recreation programs.
Who are we?
Easter Seals - Michigan is, and will continue to be, the leading provider of services in Michigan for people with Autism, children and adults with disabilities, and their families, and consumers of the public mental health system. In 2008, Easter Seals - Michigan provided services for 8,273 individuals throughout the state.
How is the money spent?
When you give to Easter Seals, over $0.94 of every dollar is used to provide direct services to those we serve - children and adults with disabilities throughout Michigan.
