We have a new name and a new attitude… (well…a shameless-publicity-seeking one at least, according to People and US Weekly)

Jon & AntarctiKate Plus 8 (formerly Finish Line Explosion)

Esteemed rental truck baron Matt Hengehold and aspiring graphics chip tycoon Justin Boitano, along with celebrity gossip gurus Brian Mullen and Katie Togneri return to Squaw Valley to race in the Vertical Express for MS. It promises to be a run for the record books (or a yard sale for the third consecutive year)…all in support of MS.

Our fearless leader hails from Oakland (by way of West Hollywood): Katie Togneri (a.k.a. AntarctiKate)

Diagnosed with MS at the age of 18 in 1995, Katie charges through life unfazed. Today, at age 33 she lives a great, healthy life with little or no symptoms of MS. Along with family and friends we’ve participated in MS Walks, MS Bike Rides, and this year we will participate in the Vertical Express at Squaw Valley.

Together with our sister teams, each dubbed AntarctiKate in some way, shape or form, we are fundraising and skiing to help fight MS.
