Challenge the Mountain. Now celebrating its 25th anniversary Vertical Express for MS is a series of on-snow events to benefit Can Do Multiple Sclerosis - a national nonprofit organization and innovative provider of lifestyle empowerment programs that empower people with MS and their support partners to transform and improve their quality of life.
Challenge Yourself. Join a great group of enthusiastic skiers and riders for a fun-filled, memory-making weekend. The event is open to skiers, telemarkers and riders of all ages and abilities.
Event Rules: Entry fee/minimum donation is $1,000 ($334/person) per three-person team. Participants receive a free lift pass, goody bag and food. Additional prizes are based on dollars raised by participants. Raise $15,000 and earn a trip to Vail, Colo.

Change Lives. Funds raised support Can Do MS’ lifestyle empowerment programs for people with MS and their support partners. With Can Do MS’ team of MS experts in fields such as neurology, psychology, nutrition, and physical, occupational and speech therapy, our CAN DO®, CAN DO 2® and JUMPSTART® programs provide supportive and nurturing environments where participants learn how to minimize the impact of MS. By addressing the physical, emotional, intellectual and social aspects of MS, our empowering programs teach people distinct tools and strategies that help them maximize their quality of life, and shift their focus from what they cannot do to what they can do.

On Saturday, February 6th we gather in the North Mammoth Room, located on the upper level of the Big Sky Resort’s Mountain Mall beginning at 8:30am. A continental breakfast is provided. The Poker Run starts at 10:00am. Participants have until 1:00pm to solve the clues as to which runs have banners and containers with envelopes. The goal is to collect one envelope from as many ski runs as possible in order to make the best poker hand. Then starting around 2:00pm we begin the giant dual slalom part of our program. Chet’s Knob is a green run allowing for all skill levels to compete. After enjoying Big Sky Resort’s Dummy Jump, our closing festivities take place.
